Groups usually start early to reach Masada before the heat, then spend the afternoon at the Dead Sea. The driver stays with the van, so towels and bags can be left behind while you swim.
Ein Gedi sits between the two if you want a walk, and we can add it when the timing allows.
Things worth knowing
The Dead Sea is hot for most of the year and there is almost no shade at Masada. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen, and sandals you can walk into the water with, because the salt crystals on the shore are sharp.
